Garden Kitty Framed

Changes to original pattern, I changed the color of the clothing from yellow shirt and blue overalls to white shirt with lavender overalls to make it a little more feminine. I also decided to just outline the head instead of the little frizzy things on the pattern, accepting across the ears. I made the carrots more orange (though maybe a bit too orange...but I'm not redoing them a third time!). And I chose the colors of the butterfly's wings as a little nod to the wedding announcement I made for Lina's parents: [link]

The pattern is from "Garden Kitties" by Barbara Sestok, a free pattern available here: [link] . This one is the "pillow" pattern of the kitty in the carrot patch.

The lettering is from Kooler Design Studio Item 3688: 365 Alphabets – Cross-stitch all through the Year (out of print – get a used copy if you can find one!) [link] , alphabets 310 and 311. The numbers are from the companion book Kooler Design Studio Item 3702: The Ultimate Book of Numbers [link] , set 26.

The fabric is 32-count lugana "cactus". At least, I think it is, the label for the package it was in got misplaced...

The mat and frame were purchased at Michaels, and I assembled them myself.
