Artisan Crafts / Needlework / Cross Stitch & Embroidery

A holiday gift for my son's teacher, done in the school colors. I only stitched one side, using felt for the bottom, and filled this with plastic pellets to make a paper weight. The pattern is "November Celtic Knot", a free pattern from Ink Circles [link] , stitched on 14-count white Aida.

Thanks! I was trying to find a way to make it useful for a teacher, and that seemed to work. With the beans, I wasn't able to do the button in the middle, but I don't mind about that so much.
