This was a gift for my friend Emily, aka

. Pattern is from Teresa Wentzler's "Knotwork Bookmarks II" [link] I modified the colors and the length. I had a vague idea of it looking somewhat like dragon scales, not sure if I succeeded or not, but it's pretty.
Stitched on 28-count Irish Linen "tea". I learned that I do not like working on linen, the threads slip around too much. I think I'll stick with lugana and monaco from now on.
